NJ Bird Photos: Birds of New Jersey

Info & pictures of common New Jersey birds including the downy woodpecker, sharp-shined hawk, heron, cardinal, belted kingfisher, warbler, robin, tufted titmouse, finch, blue jay, mallard, cormorant, pied-billed grebe, wood duck, Canadian goose, nuthatch, yellow-bellied sapsucker, northern flicker, red-bellied woodpecker, chickadee, lesser scaup, hooded merganser, green-wind teal, hairy woodpecker & goldfinch. Most bird photos were taken from our backyard on Lake Nelson in Piscataway, NJ.

Male Hairy Woodpecker at Suet Feeder

We are starting to select different settings on the camera to see what we get. This looks a lot clearer than a previous post of a Hairy at the suet feeder (at least in our opinion.)
