When will winter end?

A fat sapsucker (yellow-bellied)
Sapsucker
This sapsucker seems to be thriving, but we're getting tired of the cold and snow. Can't wait for the night heron and oriole to return, but we have a few months to go.
If it weren't for scrabble and RumChata, we'd go crazy.

We have a heated birdbath that many birds like. We also feed sunflower seeds, a favorite of cardinals. We've had 2-3 around all winter.

Brown Creeper

Can you spot the brown creeper? When its white belly isn't showing, they are camouflaged.

Brown Creeper

Now, this little bird I didn't think I would ever be able to get a picture of. First, they are very well camouflaged against the trees, and, second, they move really fast, almost insect like, up the trees. I was very happy to even get this finally.
