Mike has been wanting to see a black skimmer in New Jersey. No luck yet, but there were many visible from the hotel balcony in Naples.

Brown Pelicans

The brown pelicans rest in the trees along the beaches in Sanibel. They look like they are much too heavy to be supported by the small limbs

At sunrise, the pelicans are very active at Bolsa Chica Wetlands. There is a footbridge that crosses the bay and the pelicans dive for fish splashing the photographers on the bridge.
